Clicker Dog Training

Training dogs can be undertaken in a variety of ways – one of these is clicker
dog training.

Clicker dog training makes use of simple clicker that you can buy from most pet stores, with the dog being trained to respond to the noise that the clicker makes.

The clicker, together with correct use of rewards will soon see your dog trained.

Once your dog has realised that when they do what you require on the sound of the clicker, and then get a reward for doing it, they soon learn and will respond to your commands.

Clicker training is a nice simple way of training your dog fast, and you can both have lots of fun during the training. Some other dog training methods can be much harder to comprehend, and unless you have a good basic understanding of how training works, you can find that you do not achieve the results you had hoped for.

This type of training does not use any forms of punishment if the dog does not do as he is told - clicker training does not leave the dog with any doubt at all what it needs to do to get the reward.

Training that involves punishment can cause confusion for the dog as he will not know what he is doing wrong and this in turn will lead to a very unhappy and bewildered dog. This is not the case with Clicker dog training, as it is a type of positive reinforcement for the dog
